The weather outside was COLD, but we decided to wrap up good and go feed the ducks at the duck and goose pond. R. remembered to wear his gloves; last winter he got a nip from one goose that caused blood to flow. So with 3 cups of corn, meant to be for the deer in the yard, we headed out the door! Last February we had a greeting...the march of the geese.
It was a snowy February day, our #5 grandson had just been born and we were going to head to Kansas City in the morning. It was a wonderful day!!
Today the geese were just sitting around to stay warm, but when we got out of the car the feeding frenzy began. Honking, chest butting, feathers flying...all for some corn.
My hands had no gloves and soon grew cold holding the camera.
