All Around Beauty

Magnolia Tree in The Winter
In January it stands tall, green and empty of buds, flowers and fruit. Snow lightly covers the leaves as the fading sun peeps through its branches.

Cold winter rain falls on the Magnolia Tree.

The large White Magnolia Tree in the front yard is a year round beauty and favorite. It stays green all year long.  From the small buds of spring, to the large, fragrant and solitary white flowers, this tree is always changing.

Each day it continues to grow and change into a lovely large white flower. The large, fragrant flowers blossom out as summer approaches.

There is always lots of pollen to go around...the bees and insects are enjoying a "pollen party"!

As fall approaches around September to October, the Magnolia Tree shows new changes.
The white petals have fallen to the ground and the cone-like fruit begins to form.

The Magnolia is covered with fruit in the fall.
The red seeds are a part of the diet of squirrels, opossums, quail, turkey, and birds.

Winter arrives and the empty and dried fruit falls to the ground. Soon the cycle will begin all over!
