In 2007 I began writing in a journal. It has been relaxing and therapeutic to write and sketch about the important happenings and feelings of events that transpire in my life. "Our Kentucky Acre" is just an addition to the book; a journal in photos. It's amazing what  can be captured in a photo! 

Gathering flowers to take home...leaving the funeral home and travelling home in the rain...raining tears.

My husband's mom died on the eve of December 25. This year begins with grieving over the passing of a loved one. She was 90 years old and lived a full and productive life. Grannie Annie will be missed!
