Waddle, Honk, and Snow

Last week was a whirlwind! On Wednesday we did some shopping and on the way home it started to snow, so we decided to visit the park on our way back home. It was great!

Hardly anyone was in the park...just us and the geese/ducks! What an enjoyable few minutes.

When we first pulled up in the car, the geese began their honking march to the car.

My husband crumbled a dog biscuit and they liked that just fine, even tried taking his finger with the biscuit (only a small amount of blood was lost).

The ducks were swimming and Canada geese were plentiful.

After the park it was time to go to the river. You could see the barges off in the foggy distance. The sea gulls flapping their wings and the river water splashing at my feet was a perfect picture.

It was now time to warm up with a cup of coffee...a visit to our favorite coffee shop was in order!!

That was just the start of our adventurous week! Next post will be about our short trip west to see our newest grandson, Philip Oliver!!
