Camera Frustration
FRUSTRATING START TO THE WEEKEND
Our beautiful bluebirds are working together on this cold morning to protect and keep their eggs warm. I grabbed the new Sony a6000 and started clicking away, but the focus was off and there was a dot on the lens. What button is for what??? FRUSTRATION! About 15 photos have been deleted and only a few have survived the cutting board. It is so frustrating because I still haven't put the time into learning how to use this great camera.
For over a month it has been sitting on the kitchen table. After first buying it, there were those first few beginner snapshots (which turned out better than when I started messing with the settings!) but most of time the camera has been idle. The cool-pix was so easy to use. Even if the zoom-out was not real good, it was a comfortable fit for a "know nothing about taking photos" kind of person.
So this morning was filled with viewing the CD instructions and reading some good articles on line. Maybe I'll get the hang of it and be able to capture some nice bird close-ups!! Maybe I need another zoom lens?$ The one now only goes to 210. Learning new things is never easy! I still have the Cool-pix hanging on the kitchen door :)

| some herbs and flowers survived the winter (rosemary, thyme, oregano, lavender, and mint) |
In May the herb and flower bed on porch will be cleaned and trimmed. Additional herbs and marigolds will join the others.
Have a nice weekend!
