EGGS: and they aren't from rabbits!
Checked the bluebird box this morning and there are 4 bluebird eggs resting in the soft straw. I'm worried that the cooler and downright cold temperatures will harm eggs or bluebirds. Read this article with some interesting facts on temps and bluebirds. Hopefully, they will hatch and be okay. I love seeing bluebirds while working in the garden and yard.
| Didn't want to disturb nest this morning with a camera, so here is a photo from last year. |
We had a few snow flurries on the first day of spring! Yesterday, we mowed the garden spot and will seed/till has soon as ground is drier. There was still some collard greens left from last years garden.
Today Lowes is arriving with new doors...our 1950's home is getting a face lift (all new windows and doors). The windows are custom made and will arrive the middle of April. It has been busy here! R finished my "cookbook" bookcase and I'm very pleased with it. Next project will be another raised bed for the garden...one a year.
March is marching on and April is around the corner.
