May: Mother's Day, Birds and Squirrels, Walks and Flowers

May is moving along quite fast...today is already the 17th! Mother's Day started with packages in the mail! I love packages! Then there were perfect days for May walks. The garden was put out a week ago but then came cool temperatures and lots of rain. So far the corn and sunflowers have not shown their face in the wet, damp earth. R said we will give it a few more days. The lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, wildflowers and herbs are growing fine. Our rat-terrier has settle back to a quiet routine and neighbor's dogs come with me for walks or to help in the garden.
What a wonderful May!! so far!!
