Nuthatch At The Feeder: White-Breasted and Red-Breasted!!
Nuthatch at feeder and birdbath...not one kind, but TWO kind. The White-breasted Nuthatch, that is year round in Kentucky and the Red-breasted Nuthatch, a winter bird in Kentucky. Here they are!!! The red-breasted has the prominent eye line and rust red breast and belly (female grayer tones). The white-breasted has black cap and neck (female same). Squirrels are also feeding on our busy porch. One happy group of critters.
