Extra Photos

A few extra photos as summer continues. We had a tornado in our subdivision on May 22. It was not far from our home (like very close!!!). The EF3 tornado was on the ground 14 minutes and was l/4 mile wide...lots of destruction but no lives lost. The golf course next to our house was closed for a month.  I did not take any pictures of the aftermath...too sad. Would like to get a "safe room" in the garage, but may have to wait. Yes, we are in Tornado Alley.

This year's wildflower garden is mainly the color of yellow...last year the pink cosmos were queen of the garden.

Daisy is our grand-dog...she came for a visit while her family went to summer camp.

Snow Queen Hydrangea

Eastern Kingbird

First batch of 4 baby Bluebirds. Second round there are only 3 blue eggs, as of yesterday.

Ruby-Throated Hummingbird with partial straw-like mouth part uncoiled.

Love summer's nature....
